Program Description
The Foreign Employment Board (FEB) has allocated Fund for the implementation of Short-term Employable Vocational Skill Development Training for potential migrant workers. The aim of the project is to expand the supply of skilled and employable manpower by increasing access to quality training programs and by strengthening technical and vocational education and training system in Nepal. The training program is targeted to potential Nepali migrant workers who are willing to go to foreign employment in 12 different occupations. The main objectives are to provide Short-term Employable Vocational Skill Development Training to produce skilled manpower, reduce the risk of workplace accident and increase in salary of potential migrant workers in 12 different occupations.
