Plumber (General)
Medium of instruction: Nepali and English
Method: 1:10 ratio
After completing this training program, the trainees will be able to complete the following objectives.
- To draw, design and estimate plumbing work.
- To do bench work and fabricate work.
- To install water pipes, fittings, valves and sanitary materials.
- To install pumps, water tanks and water heaters.
- Maintenance of plumbing works and installation of drainage pipes.
- Through income generation by creating employment and self-employment within the country in related businesses to improve livelihood.
- To improve livelihood by earning high income from foreign employment.
This course emphasizes on skill development. This course taught skills 80 percent of the time and 20 percent of the time a percentage of time is allocated to learning knowledge.
- Project work mentioned in the course after learning within the training center is repeated by all the trainees it will be completed within the specified time in the facilities available in the training center or in the actual field.
- Therefore, the emphasis of this course will be on imparting or teaching skills embedded in the curriculum.
- At least 60% marks in theory
- 80% marks in practical
- Minimum 80% in Theory
- Minimum 90% in Practical
- 80% practical
- 20% theory
Practical knowledge will evaluated through practical skill test and Theoritical knowledge.
- Passed at least diploma level in related profession or passed level 3 skill test.
- Possess good communication and training skills.
- Experienced in related business.
